Hadi, Parvaneh; Symons, Duncan
Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom, v26 n3 p9-13 2021
As technology quickly evolves, there are breakthroughs in science, space exploration, medical and engineering fields almost every day. In the future, there will be more complicated science and technology problems that need specialized researchers and scientists to find an optimized solution. This paper presents the role of robotics in supporting algorithmic thinking, critical thinking, and student's problem-solving in mathematics education. This research supports the first steps towards using coding in primary school mathematics education.
