Amplify Experiential Learning with Cloud Video
Lewis, Katie D.; DeSantis, Joshua
College Teaching, v69 n3 p173-179 2021
Experiential learning is an essential component of the 21st-century, higher-education curriculum. Professional preparation programs are particularly reliant on experiential learning to bridge the divide between teaching theory and practice. While experiential learning opportunities themselves are invaluable for students, meaningful feedback and supervision are essential to fully realize the opportunities they afford. Organizers of experiential learning struggle with the logistics puzzle of providing timely and meaningful feedback and supervision. Cloud-based supervision offers a solution. By increasing the quantity and depth of feedback, students are positioned to fully capitalize on the opportunities enabled by experiential learning.
