Many recent publications on doctoral education issues are available, and it can be challenging to keep up with the literature that can inform the commitment to implementing best practices. In an effort to serve the needs of leaders of doctoral programs in Christian higher education institutions, this is an annotated bibliography of resources addressing a wide range of issues relevant for doctoral program development. For each of these resources, a short paragraph is provided that highlights what it addresses and how it might be helpful to readers. The resources are organized in the following major sections: (1) "Council of Graduate Schools" (CGS) Materials; (2) Resources on a Range of Doctoral Education Issues; (3) Dissertation Supervision Issues; (4) Dissertation Qualities and Assessment Issues; (5) Virtue/Character and Critical Thinking Formation in Christian Higher Education; (6) Books on Online Education from a Christian Perspective; (7) ICETE/Langham Resources; and (8) International Resources on Doctoral Education.
