While a large body of research has explored issues related to refugee educational barriers and attainment, few articles have explored the impact of recent U.S. refugee resettlement policies and funding on refugee youth's psychosocial and academic functioning. This manuscript assesses systemic and psychosocial challenges and school-based supports for refugee youth.
