Bull, Glen; Garofalo, Joe
Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education (CITE Journal), v6 n2 p271-274 2006
In 2002, representatives from the teacher educator associations representing the core content areas (science, mathematics, language arts, and social studies) and educational technology met at the National Technology Leadership Retreat (NTLR) to discuss potential implications of ubiquitous computing for K-12 schools. This paper re-examines some of the underlying assumptions and conclusions of the retreat in light of developments in the area of ubiquitous computing.
