Roehl, Amy
Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences, v105 n1 p42-46 2013
This study utilizes web-based video as a strategy to transfer knowledge about the interior design industry in a format that interests the current generation of students. The model of instruction developed is based upon online video as an engaging, economical, and time-saving alternative to a field trip, guest speaker, or video teleconference. Findings from this study included a high level of student engagement through the videos, which helped them process information and better understand context.
