The use of community resources during the orientation component of the Portland, Maine Work incentive Program is described. The company or agency representative (from Community Mental Health Clinic, State Employment Services, local businesses, etc.) is introduced to the group by the Counselor. He then discusses his organization (its services, eligibility requirements, employment opportunities etc.) and answers questions about it during a question and answer session. (EK)
