Effect of Audiorecording and Videorecording on Client Satisfaction and Self-Expression
Gelso, Charles J.
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 40, 3, 455-461, June 73
This study examined the effects of audiorecording and videorecording on clients when recording is done for the purpose of counselor supervision. Video-recording inhibited the self-exploration of clients with personal problems, and it also resulted in less satisfaction with counseling. Both recording methods inhibited self-exploration in clients with educational-vocational problems. (Author)
