Argues that the young can be educated entirely in terms of their free choice, with no processing whatsoever. Suggests that most of the money now spent for high schools and colleges should be devoted to the support of apprenticeships, travel, subsidized browsing in libraries, and self-directed study and research; and to support other volunteer organizations.
