Concern is raised about the wording of the Counselor Education Program Innovation Index items and about the response format. The influence of perceived item ambiguity andresponse format bias upon the results of the inventory are noted. A suggestion is made for ACES sponsorship of research descriptive of what counselor educators do and with what results. (Author)
