This qualitative case study aimed to identify how teachers gain knowledge by using technology in the classroom. This study helps give the tools that are needed to be successful. Teachers may undergo intensive training in technology to be successful. Virtual surveys were conducted with certified teachers who used technology. The findings indicated that teachers need significant training to use technology appropriately. Based on the interview responses, a guide was created to help teachers use technology appropriately. The guide consisted of the education teachers need to understand how to use technology appropriately and thoroughly. Additionally, the findings of this research could lead to required training when using technology. It can also help enhance programs already on the market to be as successful as others. Districts can put funding towards technology training. Since technology is constantly changing, the results of this survey help guide the future of education.
