Erin I. Kim
ProQuest LLC, D.Ed.Min. Dissertation, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
The purpose of this project is to establish a healthy community through conflict resolution in small communities through the relationship-oriented dialogue education. This project was designed as a practical program that serves as a guide for effectively coping with conflicts within small communities and was conducted over a period of 12 weeks with 12 adult participants from the Korea Counseling and Coaching Development Institute. To prove the validity of this project objectively, quantitative analysis methods, indirect measures to observe participation, and individual in-depth interviews were applied. The result of the project analysis showed that the relationship-oriented dialogue education might be a meaningful and useful method for resolving conflicts in small communities in the church.
