Education Sector Analysis: Highlights from the Federal Member States

This 2022 Education Sector Analysis (ESA) provides highlights from the following federal member states in Somalia: (1) Banadir Regional Administration; (2) Galmudug state; (3) Hirshabelle state; (4) Jubbaland state; and (5) South West state. Highlights for each state include: (1) Enrollment, coverage, and internal efficiency; (2) Education expenditure (with the exception of the Banadir Regional Administration); (3) Quality of education and teachers; and (4) Governance and institutional analysis. [This ESA was produced through close collaboration between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education (MOECHE).]
