ProQuest LLC, Ed.D. Dissertation, Aurora University
The problem under examination is the course success of High School students in Face-to Face and Blended classroom environments. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the participation and performances of Face-to-Face and Blended high school students in different classes. Students' achievement and participation in Face-to-Face and Blended classes will be explored. The distribution of final grades of students enrolled in Face-to-Face and Blended classes of one Chicago suburban High School will be investigated. The participants of this study are students at a Chicago suburban high school enrolled in Face-to-Face and Blended AP English, Economics, US History, Health, Conditioning and American Government during the years 2017-18 through 2019-20. The data used for this study will include information about each student final grades in the different classes they were enrolled, and information about each individual's characteristics. This study will show if there is a significant statistical association between Face-to-Face and Blended student groups.
