In this research, the author presents the lived experience of a distance learner and how the participant have overcome the feeling of isolation. The participant of this qualitative phenomenological study is a graduate student from Visayas State University -- Open University (VSU-OU). This qualitative phenomenological study seeks to measure in-depth experience of a distance learner and systematically analyze the culture of distance learning in order to understand phenomenon and be able to share to the future studies.
