MyPedia - India. Product Efficacy Report Summary

Access to experienced teachers and educational technology is not equal for all learners in India. MyPedia is positioned as a full academic partner solution for private schools in India serving middle class families providing both teaching resources and teacher training services to help improve student achievement -- regardless of the school's level of access to technology or its teachers' level of experience. Pearson explored whether using MyPedia in private schools in India successfully supports improvements in teachers' knowledge and pedagogical practices as well as students' learning and achievement. To make this assessment, Pearson conducted an implementation study over two years, and then explored if the implementation quality ratings were related to students' scores on end-of-year tests in English, math, and science. In the context of this study, this summary reports correlational statements about the efficacy of MyPedia.
