Bridging the Gap of Communication between Faculty and the Information Technology Services Department

This study addressed the communication gap between faculty and the Information Technology Services department. As an internal employee, the researcher collected data to assist with closing the communication gap; in hopes of better communication by using better communication methods. Faculty from three institutions was asked to provide their perspectives on the current communication methods that were being used on their campuses. They were also asked their perspectives on their Information Technology Services department. The results of the study indicated that faculty did not feel there was a gap in communication and was satisfied with the current communication methods and their Information Technology Services department.
