This quantitative correlational analysis explored the relationship between the perceptions of information technology professionals' and perceived job security, perceived morale, perceived productivity, and perceived turnover of information technology professionals. The available body of knowledge on the topic of offshoring was limited from the "people" aspect. The purpose of this research study was to understand possible relationships between the perceptions of information technology professionals' perceptions of offshoring and perceived job security, morale, productivity, turnover, and the moderator effects that potentially influenced the relationships. To understand the relationships, a pilot study, and final study was conducted to examine the relationships. The final study consisted of Silicon Valley, California IT professionals' who were purposively asked to answer 32 survey questions on a newly devised survey instrument that was developed for this study. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, Simple Linear Regression, and Multiple Regression with Moderators were the analysis approaches. The results of the current study identified the relationship between the perceptions of offshoring, perceived job security, perceived morale, and perceived productivity void of causation. The association with perceived turnover was not reveled in the findings; however, ignoring the probable relationship identified in the literature might be problematic. This current research study provided additional insight on the perceptions of offshoring from the perspective of IT professionals and helps close the gap in the literature, thus contributing to the available body of information on the topic of IT offshoring.
