Freemon, Ebony Marie
ProQuest LLC, Ed.D. Dissertation, Trevecca Nazarene University
This study examined transition services provided to students with disabilities in their secondary environments and whether or not these services prepared students with disabilities to post-secondary transition. Fifty students with varying disabilities from seven southeastern high schools participated in this study. Quantitative and qualitative results consisted of student, parent, teacher, and transition specialist data. Based on these analysis of these data, this study showed that students with disabilities benefit from the transition services provided to them in secondary environments, which impacts post-secondary transition .
