Do online students exhibit different learning styles from onsite students; and if so, what accommodations relating to learning style differences may be made for online students? Our ideas of best practices within this area have been evolving to keep up with our students. Various tactics have been used to make sure students understand what kinds of challenges they face in an online class. Although, we are now teaching the computer generation, most students have been trained for 12 years priority to entering college. It is important to remember to remove as many obstacles as possible to the online delivery.
