Du, Yunfei
International Association of School Librarianship, Paper presented at the School Library Association of Queensland and the International Association of School Librarianship Conference incorporating the International Forum on Research in School Librarianship (Brisbane, QLD, Australia, Sep 27-Oct 1, 2010)
Library science students in school librarianship were surveyed to determine their information seeking and avoidance behaviors in Web-based online environments. Two coping styles were identified among students. Barriers to student online collaboration, such as individual preferences, concerns on efficiency, and lack of mutual trust, were observed. Collaborative learning survey is appended. (Contains 1 table and 2 figures.)
