2007 Guide to National Board Certification
National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
The "Guide to National Board Certification" introduces teachers to the assessment process and provides them with useful information as they apply for National Board Certification. By participating in the National Board Certification process, teachers are joining tens of thousands of educators in an unprecedented effort to reshape the public's perception of educators, to create more professional and educationally rewarding relationships among educators, to advance the knowledge base of educators, and ultimately, to improve student learning. This paper presents the 2007 version of the Guide to National Board Certification. NBPTS Online Candidate Application Screen Shots is appended. (Contains 4 tables.)
