This issue of "Legislative Review" takes a look at the news in higher education from April 6 to 10, 2009. This Legislative Review reports that: (1) SB 2003, the North Dakota University System (NDUS) budget bill, and SB 2038, the flexibility with accountability legislation, were acted on Thursday, April 9 by the full House Appropriations Committee; and (2) the State Board of Higher Education restated its support for two key initiatives included in the board's 2009-11 North Dakota University System budget request last April 6. Lists of bills passed this week and bills failed this week are also reported.
