School District (K-12) Pandemic Influenza Planning Checklist
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Local educational agencies (LEAs) play an integral role in protecting the health and safety of their district's staff, students and their families. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have developed this checklist to assist LEAs in developing and/or improving plans to prepare for and respond to an influenza pandemic. Checklist sections cover: (1) Planning and Coordination; (2) Continuity of Student Learning and Core Operations; (3) Infection Control Policies and Procedures; and (4) Communications Planning.
