Wyoming Community College Commission
Wyoming's seven comprehensive community colleges document their performance in meeting the needs of their stakeholders against fourteen core indicators: (1) Student Goal Attainment; (2) Persistence; (3) Degree Completion Rates; (4) Placement Rate in the Workforce; (5) Employer Assessment of Students; (6) Licensure/Certification Pass Rates; (7) Client Assessment of Programs and Services; (8) Demonstration of Critical Literacy Skills; (9) Demonstration of Citizenship Skills; (10) Number and Rate Who Transfer; (11) Performance After Transfer; (12) Success in Subsequent, Related Coursework; (13) Participation Rate in the Service Area; and (14) Responsiveness to Community Needs. Using the American Association of Community Colleges core measurements, this report indicates that Wyoming's community colleges are performing well in fulfilling their multi-dimensional responsibilities in higher education in Wyoming and is beginning to allow a documented and historical perspective on these measures. Wyoming's community colleges intend to use this report to document performance, and evaluate where improvements can be made to make a plan of action toward meeting and exceeding stakeholder expectations. An Appendix includes student satisfaction information by student classification. (Contains 6 figures and 16 tables.)
