Fleming, Kimberley K.
Online Submission
The purpose of this paper is to identify the developmental stages and feelings that children are portraying in their artwork. Included in the paper the writer gives examples of the different stages of scribbling and an activity for teachers and parents to do with the child. The results of the activities will give insight into a child's feelings and innermost events. The conclusion of the paper is that the adult will be able to assist the student with their feelings and developing their literacy skills. It is recommended that parents and teachers observe the child's artwork and observe their different stages. (Contains 4 resources.)
