Human resource development programs in various institutions communicate with their constituencies including persons with disabilities through websites. Web sites need to be accessible for legal, economic and ethical reasons. We used an automated web usability evaluation tool, aDesigner, to evaluate 205 home pages from the organizations of AHRD members. We found that there were large numbers of usability barriers to persons with disabilities existing on these homepages. (Contains 3 figures and 3 tables.)
