Observation is a complex activity; that teachers of science should know how to make observation and how to apply it at all grade levels and finally how to monitor and evaluate their students as a guide. The aims of this experimental design study were to create observation methods and to develop student teachers' process skill of observation. The study was conducted with sixty one student teachers. The results of the study showed experimental groups' observation was more systematic, detailed, diverse and comprehensive than the control groups. The differences proved that systematic-observation enabled students to begin investigation and continued throughout it. (Contains 3 figures.)
