Expanding Access and Increasing Success in Postsecondary Education for Arizonans. The Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) 2004 - 2005 Annual Report
Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education
This Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) annual report is organized in three sections, each section describes the activities and services related to each of three goals: (1) to increase available student financial resources; (2) to implement strategies to help students and their families plan, enter, and succeed in postsecondary education; and (3) to provide a forum for all sectors of higher education to dialogue, partner, and problem solve issues of mutual interest. The third goal is to be supported through policy analysis and research, as well as by collaborative action taken by task forces. The ACPE staff has identified efficient and effective administration of the financial assistance programs under their management as the primary strategy to achieve Goal 1. Strategies employed to achieve Goals 2 and 3 include developing opportunities through partnerships, grants, and collaborative efforts to leverage ACPE resources in order to forward its mission. The conclusion summarizes how the parts of this report relate to the plan and the future of the Commission.
