Resource-Oriented Teams: Key Infrastructure Mechanisms for Enhancing Education Supports. A Center Report
Center for Mental Health in Schools at UCLA
Resource-oriented organizational mechanisms focus specifically on ensuring the appropriate use of existing resources and enhancing efforts to address barriers to student learning. This report first explores such mechanisms at the school level, then in terms of a feeder pattern, and finally at the district level. We stress the fact that what we mean to focus on is resource-oriented mechanisms that are a permanent part of the infrastructure at all levels. For such mechanisms to become part of the infrastructure, school reformers must understand their importance and ensure they are included as schools and districts restructure.
