This guide teaches educators how to write effective educational specifications. It states that all educational specifications should attempt to: (1) Involve educators and community representatives in the definition of educational needs; (2) Enable school planners to better understand the purposes of the facility; (3) Help the designers to create a building that fits the educational program and needs of the community, and; (4) Eliminate oversights that are expensive to correct once construction is complete.
