By utilizing currently available data from various sources, this report presents an initial overview and analysis of the collegiate educational opportunities available to high school students in Connecticut. It presents relevant issues for discussion and suggests future research in enhancing state public policies and vision for a more coherent and consistent PreK-16 educational system. Data are provided to address the following research questions: (1) "What kind of data are there to provide background knowledge of Connecticut's collegiate opportunities?"; (2) "What is the overall picture of collegiate educational opportunities for high school students in Connecticut?"; and (3) "What further research steps need to be taken to have a more comprehensive understanding of the issue?"
