This document presents an assortment of statistical data about higher education in Maryland. The information is presented for a period of years, so that trends can be highlighted. The book is organized by topic into these sections: (1) factors affecting enrollment, including college-going rate of Maryland high school seniors, their intended major, their college admission test scores, and their performance in college; (2) enrollment, with information on trends by level, gender, race, residency, and program; (3) retention, transfer, and graduation; (4) degrees, including information on degrees awarded by race and gender; (5) graduate outcomes, including information on postgraduation education experience and occupation situations; (6) faculty and staff, with breakdowns by race and gender; (7) campus resources, with information about revenues and expenditures at Maryland public campuses, general fund support, and capital projects; (8) tuition and fees; and (9) information on student financial aid for undergraduates.
