This book is a compilation of nearly 100 projects and trends in school design. The projects were submitted for a 1999-2000 competition and focus on a variety of school facilities. These facilities range from early childhood to community colleges, including public, private, and alternative facilities. A jury of architects and educational administrators reviewed each of the submissions to select a diverse range of projects to illustrate the future of design in educational facilities. Each entry contains photographs, floor plans, an architect's statement, and building details. (EV)
