This book discusses the aspirations and desires of women in higher education in the fields of mathematics and science and their journey to wholeness and excellence that comes from having the choice and flexibility to create and change their roadmaps at will and thus succeed in a world in which the accepted way of knowing has been different from theirs. The book analyzes women's alignment of their environment, visions, and missions in life. Using the voices of women, the motivations, competence, and self-perceptions of women are explored as well as the equality of opportunity afforded them to fully participate in their life and work environments.
