This introductory packet contains materials to help the school mental health worker deal with conduct and behavior problems among students. The range of such problems is described, using fact sheets and the classification scheme from the American Pediatric Association. Selections from a variety of sources discuss differences in the interventions needed with respect to variations in the degree of problem manifested. These differences include the exploration of environmental accommodations, behavioral strategies, and medication.
