The report presents data about financing of California postsecondary education for fiscal years 1965-66 through 1999-2000. The report notes that: combined public system enrollment funding increased by over $200 million; resident undergraduate student fee charges were reduced systemwide; the Cal Grant program was expanded by over $21.5 million; and total K-12 spending increased by 6 percent. The introduction to the report includes a summary of changes since the previous report, a list of highlights, and information on the study's methodology and organization.
