Thompson, Virginia; Mayfield-Ingram, Karen
This book is the third in a series of family math books whose aim is to involve parents and their children in middle school mathematics. This book focuses on algebraic reasoning and number sense. There are 31 activities on algebraic reasoning and 29 activities for number sense. A chapter on parent advocacy that provides a framework for families to make informed decisions about their children's math future is included. A list of resources for additional information is also featured. Contains 28 references. (ASK)
