This curriculum guide contains computer skills activities for the public schools of North Carolina; these lesson plans are designed specifically for grades 1-8 and focus on ethical issues. The lesson plans for each grade include a list of materials needed, lesson time, teacher preparation activities, outline of activities, and instructional measure. Social Studies, communication, computer and information skills objectives addressed are outlined for each lesson. Worksheets, support materials dealing with copyrights, and copies of articles on related issues are also included. At the end of the document, a set of model lesson plans issued by the Software Publishers Association (SPA) is provided; this learning package is designed to help reinforce the importance of ethical issues in technology use.
