This audiotape is meant for use by teachers and others to learn the 70 common Orton phonograms in preparation for teaching their students, by adults who wish to improve their own language and spelling skills, and by students for practice (with supervision) after they have learned letter formation of the alphabet. The audiotape presents the phonograms in the order in which they appear on the leaflet and on the companion phonogram cards. The phonograms on the audiotape are paced so that average first-grade students have time to repeat the sounds aloud and write its phonogram. The audiotape comes with an explanatory leaflet which contains step-by-step instructions for using the audiotape. (RS)
