This volume contains papers on computing and television as well as on the rapidly growing area of electronic communication among teachers and between teachers and students. Data analysis is now an important strand in school curricula in many nations. Many of the contributors discuss statistics in the schools from various perspectives. University education is not neglected, nor is the issue of training government statistical staff. This proceedings is divided into eight sections according to general topic.
