This report describes major activities and accomplishments of the Arkansas Rehabilitation Research & Training Center on Enhancing Employability of Individuals with Disabilities from August 5, 1994 through May 14, 1996. The Center has a 5-year contract in the priority area of enhancing employability of individuals with severe disabilities. The mission, goals, and objectives are outlined and related to the six priority areas of the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), and the programmatic strategies for achieving the objectives and goals are discussed. Outcome goals are identified in the areas of information access, service delivery, and employment. The project's 21 research projects are grouped by NIDRR priority areas with each objective listed and the specific projects addressing the objective summarized. Brief individual research project progress reports are included. The dissemination of information conducted by the project is reviewed with publications, presentations, and materials development and distribution listed. Each training and/or education program provided by the project is described. Also described is the technical assistance given by the center and its service and outreach activities. Supplemental projects are also reviewed. Consumer/constituent feedback on the center's activities is provided. A list of the faculty, staff, and members of the National Advisory Council is included.
