This report describes achievements of Colorado's Division for Developmental Disabilities' Community Integrated Employment (CIE) Program for the 1990-91 period. The report begins with a definition of "community integrated employment." Text and graphical data on characteristics of persons in community integrated employment, including age distribution, gender distribution, ethnicity distribution, functioning level, and funding sources are presented. Employment outcomes are then reported, including numbers of individuals receiving job services, average hourly wages, relationship between wage level and functioning level and between wage level and service strategy, hours worked, integration areas, and integration by service strategy. The final section looks at satisfaction and decision-making power in CIE services, analyzes activity levels by day service setting and functioning level, and compares decision-making for persons in community integrated employment programs and segregated day programs.
