This text is intended to provide educators with increased understanding of the nature, origins, and causes of antisocial behavior and to offer information on the best available practices, interventions, and model programs for preventing and remediating antisocial behavior disorders occurring in school. Appendices provide a summary of empirical investigations on antisocial behavior in school and at home, an article entitled "The Case of Judge Hargreaves: Society Is Failing Its Children, Forsaking Its Future" (by James Hargreaves) and an excerpt from an article by Carla Marinucci and Scott Winokur entitled "Generals in the War on School Violence."
