Zalud, Robert W. Wood, and Constance L. Hoag) a survey which identified the most frequently read professional journals; (6) "Picture Books: They're Not Just for Kids Anymore" (Maurine V. Richardson and Margaret B. Miller) suggestions for choosing and using picture books in the classroom; (7) "Exploring Modes of Thinking: A Study of How Student Teachers Reflect on Their Practice" (Lana M. Danielson) analysis of interviews and student journals; (8) "Principals' Perceptions Concerning Peer Harrassment" (Constance L. Hoag, Gareth G. Zalud, and Bobere W. Wood) a survey of type and incidence of peer harassment in South Dakota schools; (9) "Mathematics Achievements: Hispanic-Anglo" (Roger Ray Parsons and Lena Khisty) comparison of patterns of student performance on mathematics achievement tests across groups and grade levels; (10) "Time for a Change: Studying Time and Space from an Historical Perspective" (Sharon C. Lee and Lisa A. Spiegel) discussion and suggested readings for a thematic unit on time; and (11) "University of South Dakota Law School Students' Perceptions of Law-Related and Civic Education" Sheryl Feinstein, Lynne Roach, and Robert Wood) a survey of law students' opinions about law-related education in elementary and secondary schools.
