This portion of the annual report on the state of education in Arizona focuses on statistical and financial data for the 1992-1993 fiscal year. Section 1 provides general statistical information in the following categories: (1) state funding and revenues; (2) expenditure history; (3) average daily membership history; (4) state summary of number and type of public schools; (5) state summary by grade of pupil enrollment, dropouts, and racial and ethnic categories; and (6) private school enrollment and statistics. Section 1 also includes figures on state, federal, and private funds, the annual reports of the county school superintendents, and information on the food service program. Section 2 provides detailed tables for school districts, counties, and the state, including enrollment, revenues and expenditures, salaries and staffing, and budgets for particular programs.
