This congressionally mandated report deals with Fiscal Year 1992 activities of the National Council on Disability. It outlines the mission of the National Council on Disability, lists members and staff, and summarizes the year's programs. The Council held hearings and forums on financing of assistive technology, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) research, rural and Native American issues, health insurance services, personal assistance services, and the ADA Watch, and conducted the Eastern European Conference on Disabilities and the Minorities with Disabilities conference. It carried out research studies regarding access to health insurance, financing of assistive technology, education for students with disabilities, and access to federal parks.
