This publication offers 17 tables of data on higher education admissions and enrollment in New York State for Fall 1991. The degree-credit and noncredit enrollment information is in the first 15 tables. Tables 1-3 present general trends and summaries of degree-credit enrollment. The next four tables provide summaries of first-time degree-credit enrollment, degree-credit by institutional classification, noncredit enrollment by institutional classification, and enrollment data by institution, respectively. Additional tables cover undergraduate information including: undergraduate enrollment, organized occupational enrollment by subject area, upper division enrollment by subject area, and unclassified enrollment. Tables also present first-professional degree enrollment information by subject area and unclassified. Tables presenting data on graduate enrollment are organized for: (1) masters' degree programs by subject area, (2) doctoral degree programs by subject area, (3) unclassified enrollment, and (4) graduate certificate programs. The section on admission trends identifies trends by institutional sector and presents data on admissions status and applications received and accepted, and full-time students enrolled, by institutional classification.
