This bibliography draws together the best sources of information currently available concerning the parental role in children's career development and family involvement in career development programs in the schools. Twenty-nine citations from ERIC and other databases include administrative materials, information analyses, journal articles, opinion papers, and research reports. Two articles, representative of current wisdom in the field, are reprinted: "Helping Parents Understand Career Education" (Kenneth Hoyt) and "The Role of the Parents in Career Education" (Patti Meekison).
