This workbook, aimed at students in the middle grades, was developed to help students plan for their futures. The workbook consists of three parts. Part 1 leads students to explore the world of careers. It includes information on career clusters and what workers in each type of cluster do. It also includes information on volunteer work and home duties. Part 2 helps students to discover their skills, relating academic skills to job skills. The third part of the workbook covers ability, effort, and achievement, time management skills, and setting goals for making dreams come true. Throughout the workbook, students gain self-knowledge and career information through exercises and examples. The workbook is profusely illustrated with black and white drawings. (KC)
